Three sites chosen in October to host the urban developments of Antananarivo's UFI project
Since the project was launched in March 2023, the PUA team has identified around forty public spaces in the Malagasy capital. In recent months, it has begun a more in-depth analysis of nine of them, located in the Lalankely 3 project neighbourhoods.

In the course of its study (documentary review, site visits, observations and in-depth interviews), the team sought to gain a better understanding of neighbourhood dynamics, uses and users. It also characterised the environmental issues at each site.

The main challenge: the complexity of the land situations of the spaces. This month, on the basis of the diagnosis carried out, the team will select three of the nine sites that will host the future urban developments, carried out in collaboration with the local. Three other new sites will be selected for the second phase of the project (Soft mobility project).
