Urban incubators, laboratories for citizen initiatives

As part of its "Shared Innovation" series, AFD is highlighting innovative programmes created or developed in our partner countries.
Designed as intervention tools to promote new, more participative ways of building cities, the urban incubators financed by the Agence française de développement (AFD) are already being rolled out in Ouagadougou, Abidjan, Dakar and several Tunisian cities. The very positive initial results of these pioneering programmes are encouraging us to extend them to other cities. Find out more.
