Settlement selection matrix

The site selection matrix is used at the very beginning of a project. It enables the project team to narrow down a large list of potential sites to a few final sites with characteristics that make them particularly suitable for an urban nursery. The matrix is weighted, taking into account the importance of different criteria (essential, preferable, etc.). The matrix can be adapted to the specific context of the Urban Nursery

The matrix should be filled in collaboratively - it can be filled in by the UFI team and presented to the other stakeholders, or it can be filled in together by all the stakeholders, during the launch workshop for example.
