Sport Uses Assessment Report of the Ouagadougou UFI

A Uses Assessment is a tool that is used to identify to different uses of the sites produced by a UFI, when they are used, by whom and to what degree. It can be useful to carry out a Uses Assessment at an intermdiary stage, in order to better adapt the temporary equipment, or during the final phases of a UFI, when the data collected can be used to inform the designs for the definitive infrastructure to be constructed on the site where this is relevant. The Uses Assessment combines a number of data collection methods (observation, interview, focus group, exploratory walks etc.) targeting different population groups, in order to produce a comprehensive of the different uses made of the sites by the local population.
